Our Vision
The Brussels Philharmonic Chorus (BPhC) is committed to keeping alive the world’s most cherished choral masterpieces and offers the opportunity to perform traditional and contemporary choral literature and major works.
The Chorus is an amateur-based, auditioned symphonic choir, led by and artistically partnered with music and choral professionals.
Bringing together the most capable amateurs, BPhC aims to build confidence among choristers, strengthening voices and growing together musically and collectively. An opportunity to refine vocal skill and musical expressions.
BRUSSELS PHILHARMONIC CHORUS (BPhC) ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2026
As notified in the BPhC Newsletter 02/26 “Save the Date”, the AGM of the Brussels Philharmonic Chorus will take place at 1930 on 23 June 2026 at the BPhC rehearsal space at Basisschool Prinses Juliana, Rue d’Oultremont 19, 1040 BRUSSELS.
All full and associate members may attend. Draft agenda and Proxy forms have been circulated by e-mail.
A pre-Summer Party will be held at the same venue after the AGM

The choir has several concerts per year and aims for an exceptionally high quality. We therefore expect all singers:
- To perform all concerts in the BPhC programme.
- To prepare diligently at home before rehearsals.
Auditions
After one trial rehearsal you will be invited to audition with the musical director.
- A couple of vocalisations to see what your voice is like and which string you are best suited to.
- A song that you bring rehearsed from home and sing comfortably.
- A simple sight-singing exercise .
Singers will be asked to reaudition every three years.
